Toasted Coconut- who knew it was so easy?

Toasted coconut compliments your salads, smoothie bowls, desserts and so much more. Once your unsweetened coconut is toasted, you have a very sweet, rich coconut flavor to sprinkle on, well just about everything!

Coconut is high in fat and helps keep you satisfied. With it’s disease-fighting antioxidants and ability to regulate your blood sugar, this is definitely on my list of super foods!

All you need:
Unsweetened Coconut
Baking Dish
Parchment Paper

I usually throw this in the oven while I am making other meals. It toasts so fast! You really have to keep an eye on it. Ideally your oven will be at 350°
You will only need to toast your coconut for about 8 minutes. Once you see the coconut start to turn a very light brown, be ready to take it out in 1-2 minutes.

Unsweetened Coconut
Perfect! Take your pan out of the oven now.
Oops! Left it in too long!
