Yes! Another waffle recipe! You can really have waffles anytime of the day, or at least that’s the case in our house. Just because it is chocolate, doesn’t make it a dessert. These waffles are gluten-free, grain-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and oh so delicious!
1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1 cup Almond Flour
1/4 cup 100% Powdered Baking Cocoa
1/2 cup Full Fat Coconut Milk
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Optional toppings: Dark chocolate chips or top with dairy-free ice cream and berries
Mix all ingredients well in a bowl. Heat your waffle iron. When iron is hot, spoon batter in and wait for a your waffles to be done. Remove from the iron with a spatula and cool on a wire rack.
