Garlic Bread – gluten free, dairy free, and quick!

mmm… who doesn’t love a good garlic bread? You may have your main dish planned out for tonight’s dinner, but this is a super easy addition the will give you big smiles all around the dinner table.

This garlic bread is super quick to whip together and get in the oven while you prepare your dinner. It is loaded with flavor, fiber and even protein! There is a crisp crust that makes your dinner guests think you stopped at the bakery and the smell is absolutely mouth watering! The kids, and hubby, looked like they were floating to the kitchen following the smell of rosemary and garlic.

Try this recipe as a perfect side for your favorite soup, salad, Italian night, or even on its own topped with vegan cream cheese, tomatoes and chicken!

Ingredients:
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1/3 cup olive oil
1 egg
1 Tbsp each garlic powder, oregano, baking powder
1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
Topping:
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp everything bagel seasoning
1 Tbsp olive oil

Preheat oven to 400°

Combine oats and almonds in your food processor to a course flour. Add olive oil, egg, garlic powder, oregano, and baking powder and process until combined. Slowly add milk while still processing.

Prepare a bread pan with parchment paper.

Scrape batter into pan and gently tap to remove air bubbles.

Sprinkle rosemary and everything bagel seasoning on top of bread. Lastly, drizzle the olive oil.

Bake at 400° for 45 minutes. Once the top has formed a crust and is a bit darker in color, remove from oven and let sit in pan for 5 minutes. Then remove from bread pan and slice just before serving.
